We're doing it again.
Our neighbor is moving and doesn't want to take the cat his friend found in Mt. Airy Forest.
Socializing cats is not fun.

This picture of a cat, from this web page, made me laugh.

The title of the page is "the camera adds ten pounds".

Greg, we have three.
Jack adopted us in August of '03. He showed up one day and just wouldn't leave. Six months or so ago we had him declawed because he wouldn't leave the furniture, the screens or my feet alone.
And then in September Rocket showed up. Trav is especially fond of red cats, so after he hung around for a week or so, he got to take the dreaded trip to Dr. Bob's.
Two weeks ago I agreed to take a neighbor's cat. He's moving to Vermont, and I thought he'd be here through the winter. He left yesterday for Vermont. So Ratti also got the dreaded trip to Dr. Bob's.
The cat dynamics here are interesting. Jack won't willingly be in the same room with Rocket, because Rocket is very verbal and hisses a lot. Ratti completely ignores Rocket.
Edited to add that Jack is Trav's best student
